Orange in bloom
Spring is one of the loveliest times to experience Orange, as gardens come to life, orchards across the surrounding countryside blossom and the landscape shifts into a fresh new season.

Discover wine at altitude
Wine is part of the story of Orange, but it is the region’s altitude that makes it particularly distinctive.
Orange is Australia’s highest-altitude wine region, with vineyards stretching from approximately 600 metres to more than 1,000 metres above sea level. The elevation and cool climate allow grapes to ripen slowly, helping create the elegant, vibrant wines for which the region has become known.

Ten days and more than 40 events celebrate the Orange wine region, with cool-climate wines, local produce and the people behind them taking centre stage.
Expect intimate tastings, winemaker-led experiences, long lunches, food and wine collaborations and signature events including the Festival Night Market — with plenty of opportunities to venture beyond the programme and discover the region’s cellar doors at your own pace.
Australian National Field Days · 22–24 October 2026
One of Australia’s longest-running agricultural exhibitions returns to Borenore, just 15 kilometres west of Orange, bringing together more than 500 exhibitors from across the country.
